• know the mechanisms of transmission of motion, principle of design and analysis of kinematic schemes, the basic principles of setup and configuration of machines, functionality of machines, the method of calculation of kinematic schemes of technological equipment and their elements;
• able to build and analyze kinematics to calculate the kinematic scheme, configure the machine tools.

Summary of the subject:
The subject and objectives of the course. Classification of cutting equipment. General information about the kinematics of machines. Mechanisms of transmission and transformation of motion. Regulation of speed of the working bodies. Kinematic calculation of the gearboxes. Adjustment and setting of machine tools. Control system equipment. Software control of machine tools. General concepts on systems of CNC. Lathes. Drilling machines. Boring machines. The milling equipment. Grinding and grinding machines. Aggregate and multi-purpose machines. Flexible production modules.
