Knowledge of the history of Ukrainian architecture, of main buildings, representing every historical period, and famous architects, worked in Ukraine.
Ability to use the knowledge of the history of architecture and architectural traditions of Ukraine in practical architectural activity.
Knowledge of the traditional features of Ukrainian architecture, which were forming its identity in different historical periods, and about a necessity and possible ways of their maintenance for the modern architectural environment of Ukraine.

Architecture and town-planning in Ukraine from the oldest times to the middle of 1 thousand A.D. Peculiarity of Ukrainian housing, defensive and temple architecture in times of Kyivs Rus and Galych kingdom. Stylistic pluralism of the Ukrainian architecture at the beginning of XX c., peculiarity of Ukrainian architectural modern style. Architecture of Western Ukraine in 1920-1939 y. The main stages of development and main achievements of Ukrainian architecture during a soviet period.
