Characteristics of the educational program:
Educational and vocational program is based on the principles and results of modern researches on information, library and archive science, enabling possible future professional and academic career. Educational and vocational program consists of the three practical lines: Information Activitiy, Documentation Processes Management, Library and Archive Science.
Gained competence:
– fundamental theories of information, library and archive science, theoretical and methodological approaches;
– principles and mechanisms of information systems and computer databases functioning;
– theoretical, methodological and procedural basis of document management;
– principles and ways of improving institutional activity in information, library and archive science;
– methods for collecting, processing and analyzing information;
– technical functions of electronic documentation system administration;
– methods of information analysis, content management, social communication and their effective development prediction.
– to organize the implementation of new information technologies at different levels of information, library and archive management;
– to participate in organizing effective databases of information, library and archive science and creating modern communication networks;
– information and analytical solution to problem situations in basic activities;
– to develop documentation workflow systems based on business communication of the organization.
– to determine the directions for development of information, library and archive management of the institution;
– to use informational methods of content analysis;
– to participate in developing proposals for defining the strategic goals and objectives for future standardization and quality management of information, library and archive resources;
