Learning outcomes:
- have the ability to solve complex problems in the field of geodesy and land management, which involves deep rethinking of existing and creation of new holistic knowledge, mastering the methodology of scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity, conducting their own scientific research, the results of which have scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance;
- have depth knowledge of geomatics (term that integrates the following subject areas: analytical and space photogrammetry, geoinformation systems and technologies, aerial and terrestrial laser scanning, remote aerospace sensing);
- be able to apply professional knowledge and practical skills to solve typical tasks of a specialty, as well as to choose the technical means for their realization,
- ability to program and to know computer technologies for solving applied problems in the field of geomatics,
- the ability to use and implement new technologies, to participate in the modernization and reconstruction of equipment, devices, systems and complexes, in particular in order to improve their efficiency and accuracy.

Summary of the subject:
Theoretical principles of digital photogrammetry. Trends in the development of technologies for processing of aero- and space images. Analytical phototriangulation. Geoinformation analysis as a means of acquisition of information on the state of the environment and making optimal management decisions. Digital orthophototransformation. Space based systems and the use of RS data in monitoring processes. Radarinterferometry. Creation of digital models of objects by means of aerial and terrestrial laser scanning, their accuracy and efficiency.
