Required prior and related subjects:
Prerequisites:
• Philosophy and methodology of science;
• Monitoring and forecasting of stress-deformed condition of territories, buildings and сonstruction
Postrequisites:
• Statistics and mathematical modeling in geosciences;
Predicting of the development of territories.
Summary of the subject:
The course examines approaches for the collecting and processing information based on the results of field work for the solvsng the tasks of forecasting and calculating the stress-strain state of objects of geodetic monitoring. The main tasks are: classification of the monitoring methods for territories, buildings and structures; general overview of the modern automated geodetic monitoring systems; calculation and design of the monitoring networks; methods of optimal design; peculiarities of geodetic works on monitoring objects; general concepts of tensor analysis and its application to study the stress-strain state of territories and structures; mathematical models of forecasting; estimation of accuracy of predicted values.
