Learning outcomes:
• the current state and trends of the development of electrochemical energy;
• the basic principles of technological solutions for the development and improvement of modern nanotechnologies, products of microelectronics, bioelectrochemical systems, etc .;
• to orientate in trends and problems of the development of modern systemic electrochemical power engineering (industry and alternative energy, transport and autonomous CCS);
• uses the provisions of theoretical and technical electrochemistry for the radiological choice of electrochemical methods for the elimination of harmful industries and the removal of non-ferrous metals and equipment for environmental monitoring of the environment.

Summary of the subject:
Modern systems of electrochemical energy Industrial and alternative electrochemical energy, transport and autonomous CCS. Method of determination of the activation energy of electrode processes. Electrochemical systems of solar and hydrogen energy. Electrochemical systems in sensors. The structure of electrochemical sensors, principles of operation and application. Modern development of electrochemical sensors. Catalytic active electrodes. Methods of their obtaining. Trends in the development of electrochemical catalysis. Electrochemical disposal of harmful substances and utilization of waste products
