Academic discipline "Professional and Civil Safety" combines system the knowledge and skills of work safety and civil protection for the design, operation processes of chemical and food technology and engineering, including: legal and organizational support of work safety and civil protection, occupational health and industrial sanitation and explosion protection, electrical safety, fire prevention measures enterprises field, radiation safety basics, forecasting negative consequences on chemically hazardous objects and measures of population and environment. The course is designed to equip future professionals the knowledge, skills and abilities on the system, the state and problems of safety in the chemical industry and the protection of chemically dangerous objects during their operation in emergency situations of natural and man-made in accordance with applicable laws and other by regulations. Academic discipline involves the study of the safety and protection for chemically dangerous objects to the particularities of the professional activity of future specialists.
