Learning outcomes:
1.ability to demonstrate professional competence obtained in the course of development of different disciplines .
2. the ability to apply the universal principles of coexistence and ethical standards of conduct towards people and the environment
3. to understand the cause-and-effect relationships of society development and manifestations of the socio-economic problems in various categories of the population
4.to apply the methods of information gathering: document analysis, observation, survey, experiment, testing, use of statistical, methodological and regulatory framework of the system of social protection of the population
5. the ability to comprehensively use the knowledge in solving social and economic problems of society
6. to identify patterns of social, political and economic development of the state and the possibility of formation of system of social protection of Ukraine
7. to analyze and explain relevant processes in the social sphere and social security
8. to search for information from various sources to solve professional problems
9. to think systemically and to apply creative ability to generate new ideas
10. critically evaluate the obtained results, to handle and defend the decisions taken on the basis of actual / empirical data practices
11. to combine theory and practice, and to make decisions and to develop a strategy for solving problems of the speciality taking into account of universal values, public and state interests
12. to apply their knowledge and understanding to carry out professional activities in the field of social security, aimed at socio – economic changes (ПН1); to apply their knowledge for professional counseling services consumers social security
13. to provide professional objective information for Central and local public authorities, local governments, public organizations on issues of social development, formation and evaluation services social welfare, social policy
14. to carry out analytical and research activities to establish regional and local patterns and peculiarities of the origin, development, resolution and prevention of problems of social security
15. to work effectively, both individually and as part of the interdisciplinary team of specialists
16. ability in communications to defend Patriotic statist position
17. the capacity for independent Autonomous professional work and professional tasks in the composition of multidisciplinary teams of specialists

Summary of the subject:
The object, subject, features and the structure of sociology. Personality in the system of society. Social Structure and Social Stratification. Ethno-social structure of society. Social institutions and social organizations. Social interaction, social control and deviation. Culture as a social phenomenon. Society as a dynamic system.
