Learning outcomes:
• To know the history of the development of education and the theoretical foundations of general pedagogy on the principles of autoindex and andragogy;
• be able to analyze the historical experience of development and different approaches to the interpretation of the essence of pedagogical phenomena, understanding their influence on the formation of modern pedagogical thought (domestic and foreign), the structure of the pedagogical process and the manifestation of its laws in different pedagogical systems and at different levels of education;
• the ability to model pedagogical phenomena and processes taking into account historical achievements, to predict their consequences in the formation of personality; to design and implement in practice educational and educational interaction.

Summary of the subject:
Methodological foundations and historical background of general pedagogy. Subject and tasks of pedagogy: the history of the problem and modern trends. The essence of the process, methods, forms and content of education: history and trends. Periodic periodization and provision of an individual trajectory of upbringing. The problem of personality in the history of pedagogy. Formation, upbringing and personality development. The system of pedagogical interaction in general ("Theory of education", "Didactics", "Management of educational institutions") and in the conditions of open education. Formation, education and development of personality on the principles of autoindex. Scientific and pedagogical researches, methods of diagnostics of distance and personally oriented educational and educational influence.
