Learning outcomes:
- knowledge of principles and methods of synthesis of control systems;
- knowledge of algorithms and control circuits, which are used in the chemical industry;
- ability to make material and energy balances and apply them for static and dynamic simulation of the chemical engineering objects;
- ability to make mathematical models and apply them to research of the chemical engineering objects, automation tools and control systems;
- the ability to apply optimization techniques for the development of control systems of chemical technology processes and their elements.

Summary of the subject:
Research problem statement, characterization of chemical engineering object in terms of construction of automated control system, analysis of the research object of chemical technology as control object, structural and parametric identification of the chemical technology, comparative analysis of existing automation schemes of investigated object, development of control system structure and selection of optimal criteria for achievement specified quality indicators of control system of chemical technology object; synthesis of optimal control system, software development and technical support of control system, modeling and research of control system and its elements, conclusions.
