Learning outcomes:
1.Knowledge of the functional-topological and architectural-artistic fundamentals of planning the buildings and their complexes;
2. Knowledge of the main functional-planning techniques as well as architectural artistic organization of buildings and their complexes taking into account the different needs of the population, climate and urban planning conditions, the requirements of monument conservation legislation;
3. Knowledge of interconnection between the volumetric-spatial, constructional, building, engineering solutions and the maintenance qualities of buildings;
4. Knowledge of the methodology and practice of a historic architectural heritage, building materials specificity, the restoration and reconstruction technologies of the architectural objects as well as the elements of their artistic alignment;
5. Knowledge of the modern urban planning conceptions and their critical estimation in a contemporary architectural theory;
6. Knowledge and competence of historic and architectural research carrying on; formulation of the monument conservation conclusions; developing the projects of architectural monuments and historic architectural urban complexes preservation and adaptation;
7. Knowledge in the field of spatial planning public policy; basic problems of spatial planning and a region development; understanding the problems of a region development; compiling the plans of a spatial development;
8. Knowledge of a scientific research methodology and the argumentation of a historic heritage protection;
9. In an architectural and urban planning;
10. In choosing the gathering and processing a pre-design information of an architectural restoration, in interpreting the initial information for the architectural and restoration solutions, in setting the restoration tasks and restoration program;
11. In solving the functional and using, building, construction, engineering and technological problems with the purpose to provide the safety and comfort while using the objects by the different groups of a population including the disable and mobile restricted people;
12. In carrying out the relevant investigations and in using the research skills in architecture and restoration;
13. In applying the actual methods, techniques and technologies of architectural and urban planning object in the course of the project including the methods of compositional modelling and computer design;
14. In thorough keeping the project documentation at any stage, including the working drafts of the architectural and restoration solutions;
15. In analyzing and systemizing the cartographic, iconographic, literary and other sources for historic and architectural investigations;
16. In developing the conceptual idea and solution of a historic urban planning complexes revalorization
17. Having been anchored to current legislation and documentation requirements, using the norms, technical conditions, estimate handbooks:in
- formalizing a project request;
- completing the initial conditions;
- setting the task of the project;
- making up an estimate of the project;
- drawing up a customer contract.

Summary of the subject:
Introductory lecture - demonstrate methods of project; its structure; requirements for textual and graphical parts; explanation the practices task, implementation schedules practices in general and interim reports. Objective and schedule of implementation tasks of practice - by individual tasks on objects, which chosen as theme of diploma design, and also with the appointments to collect materials in archives, project institutes, administrations of different levels and so on.
