As the result of study, the module students must:
• to know the meaning and essence of intellectual property; types of industrial property; criteria of intellectual property; normative and legal acts on protection of works of science, literature, art; the differentiation of legal bases, depending on the object of intellectual property; copyright and related rights; how is the international legal protection of intellectual property; the stages of emergence legal framework of intellectual property protection
• be able to determine what belongs to the objects of intellectual property; work with sources of intellectual property of Ukraine; to apply the acquired knowledge for the protection of intellectual property in professional activities for orientation in the socio-political and economic life; determine the legal protection of components of complex synthetic product of intellectual creativity; to determine the content and sequence of practical actions for the protection of intellectual property; to assess the range and characteristics of works to prevent plagiarism

The concept of intellectual property and system of its legal protection. Formation of Ukrainian legislation on intellectual property. Copyright and related rights. Patent law. The right industrial property. Nonconventional objects of intellectual property rights. Protection of intellectual property rights. Disposal of intellectual property rights. Licensing activities in scientific-technical sphere. International cooperation in the field of intellectual property. The Economics of intellectual property.
