Learning outcomes:
- to know: the essence, features and main provisions of the methodology of scientific research; methods of scientific research and peculiarities of their use in the field of marketing and logistics; historiography of the studied problem (ideas, approaches); peculiarities of organization of research work; principles of systematization of the collected material; requirements of the content, stylistic, technical nature to scientific works;
- be able to: develop ways to solve a specific problem, determine the optimal ways to solve it; to formulate the purpose, task and hypothesis of scientific research; to substantiate the relevance of the chosen research direction, to determine the necessary scientific methods in accordance with the tasks set forth by the research objectives; plan and carry out the collection of primary and secondary information necessary for a particular study; use data processing methods; to carry out the analysis and further synthesis of the results of scientific research; generalize the results, substantiate and formulate the conclusions of scientific research, provide practical recommendations;
- to acquire skills: to conduct situational analysis, processing of the received data and their interpretation, organization and conducting of research work in the field of marketing and logistics, modeling of market situations, effective organization of analytical research using IT technologies and creative approach to solving marketing problems in modern conditions.

- Specialty course in scientific research specialty,
- Scientific research and seminars on their subjects,
- Workshop on the preparation of scientific publications, conference materials and presentations of scientific reports.
Summary of the subject:
Educational research practice is realized in the form of a research project, within the specialty 075 "Marketing" and the approved theme of the thesis. The passing of educational-research practice begins with the formation of an individual chart. The work of the student in the period of educational research practice is organized taking into account the educational directions of the department, as well as in accordance with the logic of conducting scientific research: - theme selection; - definition of the problem, object and subject of research; - formulation of the goals and objectives of the study; - theoretical analysis of literature on the chosen theme; - selection of necessary sources, formation of bibliography; - formulation of the working hypothesis; - choice of research base; - definition of a set of research methods; - analysis of the received data; - synthesis of the results of analysis; - registration of research results.
