Learning outcomes:
1. Aability to establish mechanical criteria for the robustness of typical elements of technical objects, to draw up the calculation schemes and perform the necessary calculations,
2. Knowledge of general purpose design structures, the ability to evaluate design decisions according to the criteria of economy and metal capacity while ensuring the required reliability of the technical object;
3. Ability to correctly use the normative terminology of applied mechanics, operating normative and reference materials,
4. The ability to design elements of technical systems and structures taking into account the technology of their manufacturing, adjustment, operation and maintenance;
5. To assess the residual strength of elements of long-service technical systems and structures and to substantiate the possibility of extending their work life.

prophets - physics, mathematics, engineering graphics, theoretical mechanics;
corrections - machine parts, basics of computer aided design.
