- knowledge of supervisory control systems structure;
- knowledge of structure and principles of development of software for supervisory systems;
- knowledge of main stages for designing and development of visualization systems for technological processes and data storage system for the process;
- ability to design the supervisory control systems;
- ability to adjust data communication between controlling stations and remote actuators; ability to make configuration of controller communication drivers of various producers;
- ability to work with the graphical editor of visualization systems.

- Microprocessor and Programmable Automation Devices;
- Automated Control Systems of Technological Processes.
Summary of the subject:
Principles of development of supervisory control systems. Selection of supervisory systems depending on the volume of automation. Work with graphical editor of mimic diagrams. Development of simple animation elements. Development of controlling element animation. Creation of historical archives of the technological parameters values. Presentation of the archives by means of curves and tables. Methods of communication with external devices. Work with external and internal variables. Language for development and writing the scripts. Mathematical calculations and functions for processing the signals in control and data acquisition systems by means of SCADA tools.
