Learning outcomes:
- knowledge of important processes and operating principles the basic units of nuclear power plants (NPP), the foundations of the theory of automation and optimization;
- ability to analyse processes of NPP and substantiate advisability and the volume of automation;

Selection and description of technological processes NPP as an object of control; justification parameters of technological processes NPP and their nominal values in terms of task automation; compiling block diagram of interconnections between technological parameters control object; comparative analysis of existing schemes automate the process and synthesis optimal systems for specified conditions of control object; development of general functional scheme of automation and specifications for means of automation; development configuration given automation systems and algorithms primary of information processing; software description automation system; optimization of the automation system according to chosen criteria.
