The history of the extraction combustible gases. Structure of Ukraine's energy balance and combustible gas in it. Classification of flammable gases. The basic gas laws, gas mixtures, methods of expressing them. Operational properties of flammable gases: chemical composition; moisture and its dependence on pressure, relative density, temperature; crystalline hydrates, conditions of their formation, decomposition; content sulfur compounds and mechanical impurities. Requirements for performance properties. Major natural gas cleaning processes: cleaning from mechanical impurities, sulfur compounds, water vapor and carbon dioxide. Cleaning liquefied gas, adsorption and chemical, compounding. Cleaning gases artificial origin. Schemes, the main treatment processes: the cleaning, warming, odorization, introduction of methanol, throttling, reducing of gas pressure and maintain it automatically. Odorization installations. Transportation of natural gas. The scheme of gas transportation system of natural gas, the main elements. The trunk pipelines. Compressor stations, diagrams, basic processes and equipment. Gas distribution stations. Gas pressure regulators. Heating of natural gas at gas distribution stations. Measuring block of natural gas. Transportation of liquefied gas. Storage of flammable gases.
