The purpose of teaching this discipline is to provide students of in-depth knowledge in the application of design methods and the choice of heat supply systems, heating systems, central and individual heating units, heat inputs to the house, pumping stations; justification and calculation regime of supply and consumption of heat.

The principal thermal power schemes of mini heat and power plants. The classification of water heat supply systems. Schemes of the joining in dependent and independent heat supply systems to heating systems. Steam heating systems. Closed and opened systems for collecting and returning condensate equipment installations. Hydraulic calculation of the water heat supply network. Heat points for heating system. The purpose of the main functions. Space-planning decisions heating units. The calculation and selection of pumping equipment heating units. Heat exchangers calculation and constructive. The accumulation of heat in hot water systems. Calculation and selection of tank battery. Calculation and selection of automation, counters of water and heat.
