Characteristics of the educational program:
Provision of knowledge to solve complex problems in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, genetics, bioengineering, to carry out research and innovation activities, which implies deep rethinking of existing and creation of new holistic knowledge, as well as practical implementation of the obtained results.
Gained competence:
- knowledge of current methods of conducting research in the field of molecular biotechnology and bioengineering in order to create new biotechnological objects;
- in-depth knowledge of the theoretical foundations of biotechnology and bioengineering;
- in-depth knowledge of modern physicochemical and biophysical methods for the determination of bioorganic preparations.
- knowledge of methods of genetic, cellular engineering and breeding of microorganisms and plants.
- knowledge of modern methods of studying and identification of GMOs, immuno- and DNA-diagnostics.
- Knowledge and understanding of philosophical methodology of scientific knowledge, psychological and pedagogical aspects of professional and scientific activity, own scientific outlook and moral and cultural values.
knowledge of English, necessary for oral and written presentation of the results of scientific research, conducting a professional scientific dialogue, full understanding of English-language scientific texts.
- search, analyze and critically evaluate information from different sources;
- apply knowledge and understanding to solve the problems of synthesis and analysis of elements and systems specific to the chosen field of research;
- to study and model processes in biological systems;
- apply a systematic approach, integrating knowledge from other disciplines and taking into account non-technical aspects, while solving the theoretical and applied problems of the chosen field of research;
- integrate theory and practice, make decisions and develop a strategy for solving applied scientific problems, taking into account human values, public, state and industrial interests.

- evaluate the feasibility and feasibility of applying new methods and technologies in the tasks of developing biotechnological bases and methods of production of new bioproducts and biological products, improving existing ones;

- ability to adapt to new conditions, make decisions independently and initiate original research and innovation complex projects;
- the ability to be aware of the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge;
