Summary of the subject:
Tasks of molecular biotechnology and bioengineering. Modern methods of molecular biology and biotechnology. Genes. Gene cloning. Fundamentals of GMO technologies, its dissemination. Stem cell technologies. Functional Genomics. Principles of proteome study. Principles of glycom functioning. Molecular diagnostics. Legal aspects and problems of biosafety.
