Gained competence:
• basic theory, design norms, restoration methods of works of art;
• historical- stylistic and architectural, plastic and artistic fundamentals of restoration of art works of stone;
•the basic techniques of architectural and artistic design of art works taking into account their purpose and conditions of use as well as the requirements of monument- preservation legislation;
• the interrelation between formal-material work solution, its design, engineering peculiarities and maintenance qualities;
• technology of stone works of art restoration, research stages;
• content and order of research process, methods of analysis of art works;
• content of restoration-design and working documentation referred to art work of stone, the basic requirements.
• to apply knowledge of natural sciences into solving the restoration problems for simple and small works of art;
• to choose the methods of collecting and processing output information in restoration, interpret it for restoration decisions, arrange the restoration program;
• to use basic techniques of art works restoration according to normative, technological and other requirements;
• to compile the restoration project documents and follow them;
• to apply methods, techniques and technology of restoration design, including computer modeling and composite design of art works;
• perform restoration project documentation.
