As a result of mastering the module students must:
- Learn the laws of the composite synthesis, be acquainted with compositional means of harmonization
- Master the basic graphic skills of expression of two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms;
- Learn basic compositional concepts and terms;
- Develop the ability to visually percept the elements of design and their figuration.

Co-requisites: Colour Studies

Basic concepts of compositions, balance, symmetry and asymmetry, metric and rhythmic repetition, contrast and nuance in color, associations and techniques of styling, statics and dynamics, tectonics, proportions and proportionality, the ratio of masses and shapes, optical illusions.
