Learning outcomes:
1) ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles of linguistics, to navigate the tendencies of development of applied linguistics and directions of linguistic science in Ukraine and the world;

2) ability to navigate independently in language problems of the person and society, to find the optimal solutions;

4) ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of modern scientific methods of linguistic research within the communicative and cognitive directions of linguistics;

6) ability to use basic technologies focused on processing natural language information, to develop language technologies and new methods of solving practical problems in the field of language use;

7) ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve professional practical problems in the field of language use, namely - to analyze the main object of theoretical and applied linguistics - natural language and artificial languages;

8) ability to perform comparative studies of the structural and functional properties of languages, regardless of the nature of the relationship between them;

10) the ability to effectively perceive, store, process and transmit linguistic information, to predict the peculiarities of perception of information and to prevent the occurrence of communicative failures;

11) ability to model communicative acts of mono-, dia-, polychological type, taking into account the culturally specific features of the community in which the communication takes place;
ability to structure and integrate knowledge from different fields of professional activity, ability to use them creatively and develop them in the process of solving professional problems;
