Learning outcomes:
• skills: to perform analysis of the environment from the standpoint of traditional events, rates of change, predictability of the future; to perform diagnostics of the potential of a financial institution based on SWOT analysis; Strategic planning of the financial institution's activities, in particular, to develop a business plan, to formulate basic strategies as strategic alternatives to the activities of a financial institution, depending on the situation on the market and the state of the organization itself (life-cycle stage); to develop the policy of the main activity of the financial institution, the investment policy of the financial institution; be able to perform analysis of active and passive operations, financial status of the company, evaluate and control financial stability, solvency and financial reliability of the financial institution; apply financial management methods to develop managerial decisions aimed at improving the financial position of a financial institution.

Summary of the subject:
Strategic analysis: analysis of the external environment, analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the financial institution, the formation of strategic alternatives to the company's activities on the market; analysis of financial condition; development of elements of the strategy of the financial institution in the market (for individual tasks).
