Learning outcomes:
• Knowledge of theoretical foundations of motivational management in corporations;
• Mastering the skills of organizing motivational processes, using the tools of material and intangible motivation based on foreign experience and domestic practices;
• Understanding and developing skills to evaluate the motivational characteristics of the individual;
• Ability to apply methods and technologies of staff motivation, various forms of financial motivators;
• Knowledge of the principles of remuneration system; it’s basic components, forms of remuneration;
• Ability to develop practical measures to increase the effectiveness of motivational processes in the corporation.

prerequisites: Personnel management, Labor economics; Corporate Finance.

Summary of the subject:
The essence and content of motivational management. Motivational process, tangible and intangible motivation. Substantive and procedural theories of motivation. Foreign experience of staff motivation. Management of staff motivation. Personality as an object of motivational management. Motivational characteristics of personality. Evaluation of personnel in the system of work motivation. Methods and technologies of personnel motivation. Types and forms of financial motivators of staff. Remuneration and motivation. Principles of the organization of remuneration, the main components of the system of remuneration, forms and systems of remuneration, structure of remuneration of the employee, incentive and compensatory payments, bonuses and benefits, modern systems of remuneration. Pension schemes, personal insurance and lending for employees, financial assistance. Services and benefits designed to improve the standard of living of employees. Comprehensive approach to managing work motivation.

Assessment methods and criteria:
• current control: thematic control of the level of knowledge during the semester by the results of practical training, verbal examination (70%)
• final control: individual research task (30%)
