As a result of studying the discipline student must:
- to know: the essence, principles and models of corporate governance; place of corporate governance in the general enterprise management system; current corporate governance legislation in Ukraine; external and internal factors that pour into the system of corporate relations; types, categories and characteristic features of shares as equity securities, procedures for issuing securities; corporate governance bodies and participants in corporate relations.
- to be able to: to conduct an analysis of the corporate governance system of the joint-stock company; to form the management bodies of a joint-stock company in accordance with their functions and statute; to develop regulations on the management of joint stock companies; prepare documents for holding general meetings of shareholders, supervisory boards; to have the methods and means of making managerial decisions in the corporate governance system.
