Standard research methods for silicate materials and products. Modern methods of research of properties and quality control of raw materials. Physical methods of research. Non-destructive methods. Thermal analysis methods. Dilatometric measurements. Radiographic methods for the analysis of crystalline substances. Crystal-optical methods of mineral exploration. Electron microscopic methods of substance analysis. Infrared spectroscopy. Problems of studying the structure of oxide glass. Glass surface and its properties. Problems of physicochemical study of thin layers of glass.
