Learning outcomes:
• To be guided in the classification of nanomaterials, the main directions and trends of nanoscience and nanotechnology;
• to know basic physical, physicochemical and chemical methods of obtaining nanomaterials and nanocomposites;
• to know the theory of chemical synthesis of nanomaterials and features of electrochemical;
• know the physicochemical processes of nanoparticle formation during cathodic and anodic production of nanomaterials and nanocomposites;
• to know the electrochemistry of nanoparticle formation by galvanic metal substitution;
• know electrochemical catalysis on electrodes based on nanomaterials;
• be able to analyze existing nanotechnologies based on electrochemical synthesis methods;
• be able to apply modern electrochemical methods for the synthesis of nanomaterials.

Summary of the subject:
The discipline covers the theory of electrochemistry of nanomaterials, technological aspects, equipment for realization of modern innovative processes of synthesis of nanomaterials, nanocomposites and solutions of nanoparticles, electrochemical catalysis on the surface of nanostructured electrodes, applied aspects of synthesized nanomaterials.
