Summary of the subject:
Topic 1. Corrosion of oil refinery equipment and methods of its prevention. Classification of corrosion processes. Topic 2. Mechanism of action of inhibitors. Modern corrosion inhibitors. Characteristics of corrosion inhibitors. Theme 3. Metal science bases of corrosion of equipment. Recommended materials for equipment for primary oil refining plants. Theme 4. Corrosion of the main equipment of the facilities for the preparation of petroleum raw materials for processing and its primary processing. Topic 5. Corrosion of the main equipment of destructive oil refining plants. Topic 6. Protective capacity of nitrogen and oxygen-containing substances. Corrosion of media. Technological suitability of substances used as corrosion inhibitors. Topic 7. Mechanism of the protective action of corrosion inhibitors and their effect on oil refining processes. Thermodynamic and electrochemical conditions of electro-chemical corrosion under conditions of primary oil refining.
