Learning outcomes:
As the studies results, student has:
- know: the patterns of development of transport logistics system and the transport network of the country, trends in the management and optimization of transport and related maintenance costs.
- to be able to: to realize the concept of logistic planning and control of transport processes, to master the basic concept of sustainable functioning and development of transport infrastructure, technology, material flows and basic principles of logistics management to assess the operation of modern terminals and their economic efficiency.

Summary of the subject:
Functions of the transportation: the movement and storage of goods. The participants of the traffic. Transportation infrastructure, highways. Means and modes of transport. Carriers. Legal regulation of internal and international transport of goods. State regulation of transportation. International conventions and agreements regulating transport activities. Basic terms of delivery Incoterms. The development of a comprehensive system of international corridors. The formation of regional transport-logistic systems.
