- knowledge of principles, functions and procedures of designing of logistic systems;
- knowledge of modern concepts and technologies of supply chain management; strategic management of supply chains and logistic networks;
- differential knowledge in production logistics, supply, distribution, trade, transport and warehouse logistics;
Applying knowledge and understanding:
- skills to develop business plan for logistic system design, justify investment forms, implement reengineering of the logistic systems;
- skills to follow certain procedures in planning and organizing of logistic systems at the micro-, meso- and macro- levels;

- ability to reveal the socio-economic essence of enterprise logistic phenomena and processes, assess the impact of external factors on logistic processes; have a
holistic view on logistic systems of different integrational levels;
- ability to identify and use the causality in logistic processes and phenomena;
- ability to make integrated logistics-oriented decisions under complex and unpredictable conditions that require new approaches;
- ability to select, organize, process information in accordance with the objectives of logistic systems research at the various integrational levels;
- ability to formulate conclusions and justify specific suggestions for improving enterprise logistic management;
