As a result of studying the discipline the student must:
know:
• formal (analytical) and intuitive (expert) methods of using information technology for management decisions; regulatory and methodological basis for the use of network information and communication technologies;
• be able to: substantiate scientific, technical and organizational decisions on the organization of information systems for the management of the organization; identify the main problems in the process of using information technology; quantify the effectiveness of the use of new information technologies;
• understand: features of application of information technologies in the conditions of dynamic organization of business processes, application of network information and communication technologies for minimization of uncertainty and formation of mechanisms of operative decision-making of administrative decisions;
• • use: analytical tools, software and information in the process of making management decisions; use automated software to study the internal and external opportunities for business development, as well as economic forecasting of business development;
• • analyze: alternative design solutions for the deployment of information systems in the field of design given their polycriteria; enterprise development strategies based on forecasting consumer demand, identifying market development trends;
• • synthesize: coordinated management decisions for the deployment of information systems, taking into account the peculiarities of the life cycle of information systems;
• • evaluate: the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of modern information and communication technologies in the organization.

Project management implementation of modern information and communication technologies aims to optimize information flows to effectively solve problems that arise in the process of the organization. The essence of project management is a reasonable choice and justification of measures to improve information and communication support of the organization. In order to use the resources of the organization optimally, it is necessary to set priorities, select those projects that will give the maximum economic and social effect.
