Learning outcomes:
• to form the content of the chemistry course based on the system of modern didactic requirements and to implement educational and developmental functions in the educational process of chemistry;
• to apply theoretical knowledge in chemistry when studying specific topics and designing tests;
• to be able to formulate algorithms for solving chemical problems of different types when creating test tasks;
• to use active methods (problem) training in the educational process on chemistry.
• To acquire practical skills and abilities in carrying out a laboratory practice using the experiment;
• have various forms of organization of educational process in the study of chemistry in college, with the forms, types and methods of controlling the results of chemistry training, with the conditions for the successful implementation of educational and developmental training.
• to think logically, to convey persuasively the studied material in accordance with the given specialty and to control the studied material by the method of testing.

Methodology of teaching chemistry as a science and a subject. . General principles of chemistry teaching process. . Methods of teaching chemistry. Means of teaching chemistry. Testing and evaluating of student achievements in chemistry. Methodical recommendations for the formation of concepts about the classes of inorganic compounds. Characteristics of methodical approaches to the study of topics: periodical law D.I. Mendeleev, the periodic system of chemical elements and the theory of atomic structure, the energy of chemical processes, chemical kinetics and equilibrium, oxidative-reduction reactions (ORR).
