Learning outcomes:
As a result of the discipline the specialists have to master the basic knowledge of theoretical principles of communicative culture as a sociocultural phenomenon, to know the basic concepts of business and professional communication strategy, namely:
• the nature, content and practical actualization of communication in the social and professional sphere;
• structural components of communication processes in the professional sphere, their functional role in the ordering of social and professional relationships, and behavior of individuals and groups;
• forms and methods of professional communication that meet the needs of the information society;
• moral etiquette professional communication strategy and interpersonal communication in contemporary social and cultural conditions.

Prepared specialist should be able to:
• apply psychological knowledge and communication in situations related to professional activities;
• analyze different situations of interpersonal and professional communication;
• have a basic means of effective communication;
• apply effective communication strategies in professional field;
• prevent interpersonal and intergroup conflicts;
• organize individual activities, interpersonal and group interaction between people.

Summary of the subject:
Features of communication process in interpersonal, social and professional activities; basic concepts and business strategy for professional communication in the information society; psychological mechanisms of perception in social and professional communication; perceptive, interactive and communicative components of the communication process; features of verbal and nonverbal communication; forms and methods of business and professional communication; content and practical actualization of communication in museum and cultural heritage field.

Assessment methods and criteria:
Semester evaluation of student learning is carried out according to the total number of points (100) obtained according to the results of current control (40) and the implementation of control measures – examination (60 – both written and oral component).
