Learning outcomes:
as a result of the discipline the student is able to:
apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in professional activity; ably represent the cultural heritage of the country or the region as a tourist destination; clearly characterize various cultural attractions in context of tourism; professionally carry out promotion of cultural products; potential tourists interested in the national cultural heritage; propose concrete measures for the protection and use of natural and cultural heritage.

Summary of the subject:
historical and cultural tourism as an academic discipline, the concept of cultural tourism and its types; cultural heritage of the country as a tourist destination; religious and civil architecture, archaeological and landscape architecture as objects of tourist travels; large and small historic towns, rural settlements as tourist attractions; museums, theaters, exhibition halls, festivals, religious holidays in the context of tourism; features the promotion of cultural products; Ukraine's cultural heritage; protection and use of historical, cultural and natural heritage.
