Learning outcomes: acquisition of theoretical knowledge about the basic concepts of ethics and morals, their categories; understanding of the nature and content of corporate and professional codes of ethics; familiarization with current issues of professional ethics museum workers; introduction of the basic requirements for modern museology specialist in the sphere morality.
The trained specialist should be able to:
- exercise their own moral choices;
- apply acquired knowledge in the field of professional activity and personal self-improvement;
- adhere to the norms of professional ethics in the process of professional activity;
- To draw up an ethical code in the field of museum affairs.

1. State policy and law regilation of the branch.
2. Management and marketing in museum and memorial defence activity.

Subject and tasks of the discipline, theoretical foundations of ethics as a social and cultural phenomenon; ethics as a phenomenon of moral culture, professional ethics and professional morality; ethics of business communication in the professional field, ethical solution to the conflict in museum management, civilized practice of business communication and behavior of the museum worker, the code of museum ethics.
