• to understand the uniqueness and value of cultural heritage, their historical, cultural and aesthetic importance;
• to know the main stages of Lviv history and culture;
• understanding and awareness of the role of the city as a cultural phenomenon;
• awareness and preservation of historical and cultural heritage of the city;
• possession terminology skills to search, collect and analyze information about the historical and cultural heritage of the city;
• the ability of orientation in the cultural space of the city;
• formation of an ethical attitude to the cultural heritage of the city;
• ability to develop different kinds of excursions.

History and cultural heritage of Lviv, the specifics of preserving of its cultural heritage in the past and present; the main stages of the history and culture of the city, uniqueness and value of cultural heritage, its historical, cultural and aesthetic importance; specific development and protection of historical and cultural heritage of the city.

Assessment methods and criteria:
Semester evaluation of student learning is carried out according to the total number of points (100) obtained according to the results of current control (40) and the implementation of control measures –test (60 – both written and oral component).
