Learning outcomes:
• to know the basic concepts of information, data, intelligent systems, information processes and procedures to access relational databases and knowledge bases;
• to practice the basic tenets of the theory of relational databases, databases based on the object model;
• develop and support knowledge bases;
• to model and analyze information processes and procedures when developing their own databases and knowledge.

Summary of the subject:
The system databases. Basic concepts. The architecture of the databases. Data model. The relational data model. Keys of relations. Basics of relational algebra. Relational operators on relations. The relational algebra. Coverage of functional dependencies. Normalization of relational schemas. Normal form Boyce-Codd, multivalued functional dependencies. Axioms inference for multivalued dependencies, Fourth normal form. Joining the intelligent systems knowledge representation and the conclusion of sarnami. Review of research in the field of artificial intelligence.
