Summary of the subject:
The content of the course is fundamental for the further study of many subjects, one way or another, related to digital technology and analog electronic devices: computer system architectures, theory of information coding, and others. The first part of the discipline presents the basics of logic algebra (Boolean algebra). Information about basic logical functions and their properties, laws of Boolean algebra and forms of representation of logical functions are given. Particular attention is paid to various methods of minimizing logical functions. The second part discusses two main types of digital devices - combinational and sequential devices. In describing combination devices, special attention is paid to different ways of constructing combinational adders - one of the basic elements of arithmetic and logical devices. When considering serial devices, various types of triggers, their logic of operation and internal construction are considered in detail. The third part presents the basic analog electronic elements, in particular diodes and transistors, as well as amplifiers of electrical signals, operational amplifiers and power supplies.
