Owning of sufficient knowledge in areas related to tourism, which will let critically analyze the situation in the tourism sector and to identify key trends in the development of tourism;
- Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of professionally oriented disciplines 242 specialty "Tourism": Fundamentals of tourism studies, Organization of excursion services, Organization of Tourist Trips, Geography, Tourism, Geography of tourism, History, Safety of Tourism, the Organization of animation activities, the Organization of the hotel industry;
- The ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of at least one of the areas of tourism: recreation, tour operating, excursion activity, innovative tourism products, hotel services, restaurant business, service activities in tourism;
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of design methodologies and upgrading of tourist facilities in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the relevant standards and technical specifications;
- Ability to demonstrate and apply the knowledge of the basics of tourism and tourism activities;
- Identify, classify and describe the work in the field of tourism.
